They delivered a series of exciting releases in 2018, including collaborations with artists like Joey Purp and Quinn XCII, as well as “Better Not” ft. Wafia, which was a #1 hit on the US iTunes Electronic charts, featured on their EP Kids at Play. In 2018, Louis The Child hit the #58 spot on the first-ever Billboard Dance 100 artist rankings, then moved up to the #46 spot on the 2019 list.

About the Album

The duet is now releasing Here For Now, a fourteen track album with the theme of making you feel happy. The two Chicago-bred wizards have compiled a set of extravagant, electronic bliss through stadium-ready anthems like “It’s Strange,” Icona Pop collaboration “Weekend,” and “Fire.” The various feels show their versatility and emotional range, from dance floor bangers to ballads of understated tenderness.

“Little Things” featuring Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler starts with a rhythmic breathing pattern before Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler enterlouis-the-child-2 with Quinn XCII taking the lead. The production is well-done, and Louis The Child has a theme for Here For Now, making people feel good. “Little Things” has a feel-good beat, and the light and airy setting is perfect for Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler. Cutler sings the bridge. This is an excellent track for the summer festivities, even if only dancing alone while quarantined.

“Big Love” has a gospel tune sample for the intro and theme used throughout the tune. EARTHGANG is a guest on the track. The production is full, and the various vocal parts add to the feel-good vibe of the song. The bass is thumping, and you are going to dance on this one. There is a slight Reggae feel injected in the feel to make sure your body is moving.
