Our Favorite Track

Our favorite track is “Starry Night.” What caught our ear with “Starry Night” is the beat and the catchy chorus. We enjoyed the long-toned melody, it felt as if it was suspended above the active instruments. The guitars are tastefully crunchy, and the bass and drums are full and balanced. The band has outstanding vocal harmonies, which build the tracks energy and fullness. The beat has a pop influence, but still maintains a rock feel. The lyrics are enjoyable, relatable and memorable. The musical interludes between the forms are very nice, as is all the additions throughout the song. The bridge changes up the feel and builds back to the chorus and adds to the song’s overall storyline.

In Conclusiontake-the-black

Melodically laden with heavy hooks and driving beats, Take the Black has an infectious sound. With expert harmonies and memorable lyrics, the band has their own unique sound. Its accessible, yet hard-hitting.  “Starry Night,” hits all the right marks, each member lends their voice to the harmonies, and it’s a well-blended sound.  Mastromarino a solid rock voice, paired with a melody and lyrics that solidify the bands expertise. If this is an indicator for the impending release, Blood Moon we are all in for a smashing 2019 season.
